Downtown Monroe Parking Permit Now Availableposted January 6th, 2010
The Downtown Monroe Parking Permit is now available to be purchased by any interested party for $120.00 (expires June 30, 2010). The permit can be used to park in most downtown public parking lots (some exclusions and not for on-street parking) and negates the need to feed meters or adhere to parking lot time limits. Any entity requesting sponsorship of a program or project from the MSM/DDA is required to submit a Special Projects Funding Application available below for download. Once completed and submitted, the Promotion Committee and MSM/DDA Board will review the request and determine funding. In order to be eligible for funding, the project must directly benefit the DDA district. If the project is funded, then a Special Project Evaluation Form (available below) is required to be submitted within 45 days after the event concludes.
